What is a Public Adjuster?
A public adjuster, sometimes called a private adjuster or loss consultant is an individual who, for a fee, will present and negotiate your loss to the insurance company on your behalf. A public adjuster works for you as opposed to working for the insurance company. Public adjusters are experts in the field of insurance and work to insure that you receive the maximum settlement on your loss. Won’t Using A Public Adjuster Cost Me Money? While it is true that you must pay the public adjuster out of the proceeds received from the insurance company, the cost of not using a public adjuster, many times exceeds the fees the public adjuster charges for their service. This happens because coverage and damages can be overlooked by individuals who are not familiar with the insurance contract.

Gillian had the Strategic Advantage with the result being that the insurance company went from saying her loss was less than the deductible to its true value of over $361,000. Was it worth the cost? Gillian thinks so! |
